Toronto Real Estate Board President Mark McLean announced that Greater Toronto Area REALTORS® reported 7,385 home sales through TREB’s MLS® System in November 2015 – up by 14 per cent compared to November 2014. This result also represented the best result on record for the month of November.

Toronto Real Estate Board President Mark McLean announced that Greater Toronto Area REALTORS® reported 8,804 home sales through TREB’s MLS® System in October 2015. This is the best result on record for the month of October. “It is clear that many GTA households remain upbeat about home ownership because owning a home represents a high quality, long-term investment. We will see a big, new record this year for home sales reported through TREB’s MLS® System,” said Mr. McLean.

Toronto Real Estate Board President Mark McLean announced that Greater Toronto Area REALTORS® reported a record number of transactions for the month of September through TREB’s MLS® System. There was a combined 8,200 home sales reported for September 2015. This result was up 2.5 per cent compared to September 2014.

It’s been a super busy time for our family as I’m sure it is with most. Between work, children’s’ extracurricular activities (Hockey, swimming etc..) and the home build the days have been melting away at a blistering pace.

It’s been awhile since my last communication (August 8th). To say that I have been scrambling is an understatement. Prepping several properties at once for market, the kids having so many activities to keep track of, coordinating construction on our home (read latest blog) and everything else in between has left me spinning. The GREAT news is that I can’t complain about any of it. All are positive and despite dealing with many “situations” that arise things move along.

Another high pace setting month for Toronto home sales. On a positive note for buyers, the average detached home sale (for July) dipped to under $1 million. But an overall price increase year over year was experienced.

Toronto Real Estate Board President Mark McLean announced that 4,332 sales were reported through TREB’s MLS® system by Greater Toronto Area REALTORS® during the first 14 days of July, 2015. This sales figure was up by 11.9 per cent compared to 3,871 transactions reported during the same timeframe in 2014. Over the same period, new listings were down by 5.4 per cent to 6,831. “There are many reasons why demand for ownership housing remains strong in the GTA.
