See what can happen if you find buried bodies on your land. As the attached case demonstrates, it can be extremely costly for the owner of the land, who is responsible for moving any of the bodies. In addition, the stigma is likely to hav e an effect on the property in the future. The lesson is that when buying vacant rural land, it is wise to consider a search in advance to determine whether any part of the property was once used as a cemetary.

The real estate market is still humming along in the GTA. Despite lower transactions (due to recent mortgage rule changes) it is still moving forward and will be a stronger market with stronger buyers. The freehold market especially in the 500-800k range will continue to see price growth as currently there is a lack of quality inventory. It looks like it can be setting up for another busy spring market.

This year my family and I dressed up and went out as the ever popular Avengers – I was Thor (wig, cape, hammer, muscle suit and all), God of Azgar or something? .
