History
Since being incorporated as a village in 1926, Swansea has grown to become one of the most desirable neighbourhoods in Toronto.

The community gets its name from Swansea, Wales, due to the fact that it shares the same topography.

In 1967, Swansea Village was one of the last villages to be annexed by Toronto.

Swansea is well known for its many housing options, ranging from affordable bungalows to high end homes.

The nicest homes in the community are located at the Brule Gardens enclave and High Park, however, you will find properties throughout the area.

The majority of the homes in Swansea were constructed between 1905 and 1935.
