History
Wexford first came into existence as a community in the 1840’s. By the late 1840’s a church was built by local farmers, and in 1865 a post office was opened.
Through the early 1950’s the area served as a well-known farming region. By the time the 1950’s had come to an end, however, the development of the present day community was well underway.
Homes
The majority of the homes in Wexford were built in the 1950’s and include one and a half story properties and bungalows. These properties are situated on above average size lots, while also featuring private driveways and a garage.
In addition to single family homes, there are many apartment buildings of varying sizes located on the outskirts of the community.
Pricing
Home prices in Wexford are not as expensive as many other Toronto neighborhoods, starting at $200,000 on the low end and ranging to $700,000 on the high end.
