The neighbourhood of Oakridge has it all. From a variety of older homes (and some newer construction) to plenty of parkland to the well known Danforth Avenue shopping district, those who live in this area have a lot going for them.

History
The history of the neighbourhood dates backs more than 100 years.
The early development of the area was slow, however, things picked up in the 1950’s which led to a large influx of homes as well as a growing population.

One of the features that sets Oakridge apart from other neighbourhoods is the variety of home styles. Built from the 1910’s to the 1950’s, there are many sizes and styles in this part of the city.
While many of the original homes are still available and often times come for sale, some are being removed to make way for newer, custom designed structures.

Home prices in Oakridge start at roughly $100,000 and typically top out at $400,000 to $500,000.
