Oakwood-Vaughan, also known by many as Oakwood Village, is a popular community in Toronto bordered by Winnet Avenue (east), St. Clair Avenue West (south), Dufferin Street (west), and Eglinton Avenue West (north).
Many refer to the northern portion of Oakwood-Vaughan as Five Points, while the western portion has been nicknamed Northcliffe.
The schools serving the community of Oakwood-Vaughan include several public districts: Toronto District School Board, Toronto Catholic District School Board, Conseil scolaire Viamonde, and Conseil scolaire de district catholique Centre-Sud.
History
Oakwood-Vaughan has changed boundaries several times with one of the most significant changes taking place in 1998 when it became part of the City of Toronto along with several other communities.
