History
In the 1800’s, Bayview Village was nothing more than a small farming town. However, this soon changed.
In 1954, Bayview Village development commenced under the watchful eye of Farlinger Development Ltd. Bayview Village.
The neighbourhood was planned by Dr. E. G. Faludi, the same person responsible for the design of other neighbourhoods in Toronto.
During the early years, the community was an immediate hit thanks to starting home prices ranging from $16,000 to $40,000.
Homes
The majority of the homes in Bayview Village were constructed between 1954 and 1964, with many located on large ravine lots.
Housing styles including Georgian-revival, split level, and bungalows.
Along with single family homes, many condominiums and townhouses are for sale in the community.
