History
The history of West Hill dates back to 1879 when the area was considered part of Highland Creek.
In the early 1900’s, a growing number of people began to move to the community thanks to the addition of a streetcar line, connecting the area with the rest of the city.
The neighbourhood as it is seen today was developed during the 1940’s, 50’s, and 60’s.
Homes
Most of the properties located in West Hill were constructed between the 1940’s and 1960’s, and consist of one and a half story homes and bungalows.
The area is also home to a small sampling of newer custom homes as well as townhouse developments.

Home prices in West Hill range from $200,000 on the low end to roughly $700,000 on the high end of the market.
