History
When the Toronto Hunt Club moved to Birch Cliff in 1895, the neighbourhood began to increase in popularity.

By the 1910’s, the area was turning into a year round residential neighbourhood thanks to its great location and variety of local activities.

World War II slowed down the development of Birch Cliff. Once the war came to an end, residential development quickly picked back up and was completed in no time at all.

Homes
Birch Cliff offers a new selection of homes, including: story and a half houses, detached two story homes, and bungalows.

Most of the detached two story homes in the neighbourhood share a Tudor, Cape Cod, or Edwardian style.

The original homes of the area were built in 1910, with many others completed during the 1950’s. Additionally, there are more modern homes in the area which were constructed in the 1980;s and 1990’s.

The most expensive homes are located in The Fallingbrook community, thanks to its close proximity to the Toronto Hunt Club.

Home prices in Birch Cliff range from $300,000 on the low end to $1 million or more on the high end. This allows people of all budgets to make their home in this well known community.
