Hillcrest Village is far enough out of the way to make you feel isolated from the big city, but not so distant that you will be inconvenienced.
The tree lined streets appeal to many buyers. When you combine this with its distinct location on the Davenport escarpment, it is easy to see why so many enjoy the beauty of the neighbourhood.
History
Hillcrest Village has come a long way since being settled in the 1840’s by Robert John Turner. While the original name of the settlement was Bracondale Village, by the late 1930’s this had changed and Hillcrest Park was well on its way to being developed.
Homes
Hillcrest Village is home to some of the oldest properties in Toronto, with those in the northern part of the community dating back to the late 1800’s. Many of these homes have retained their original character, attracting buyers from all over the area.
There is also a nice variety of detached homes standing near Hillcrest Park, most of which were built between 1910 and 1930.
